How To Connect WordPress Plugin Gravity Forms to Airtable

Step 1: Activate the Airtable Add-on and product license

After activating the plugin, go to Gravity Forms settings.
Activate your product license under the new Airtable tab.


Step 2: Get Airtable API key

To get your Airtable API Key, visit the hyperlink in the tooltip.
Generate your personal API Key and copy it.
Paste your Airtable API Key, then save settings.


Step 3: Create and configure a form

Go to the Forms page of the Gravity Forms plugin.
Create the form you need, or edit one that you already have.
Create an Airtable base with a column for each form field you want to map.
If using select fields, make sure all options are the same as in your form.
Go to Airtable settings of the form you want to connect.


Step 4: Create and configure a feed

Create a feed to link your form to Airtable before naming it.
Look for your Airtable Base ID in the url of your database.
Copy and paste it into the specific feed field.
Same thing with your Airtable Table ID.
Add a mapping line for each form field you want to map.
Select all form fields in the right column dropdowns.
Write each corresponding Airtable field in the left column inputs.
No typos allowed! (case sensitive)
Depending on your needs, you can add special sending conditions.


Step 5: Verify your feed and fields mapping

Once your feed is saved, just go back to check if it’s properly activated.
Test it by submitting a form (fill at least all the fields you have mapped).


Step 6: Enjoy!

The form data has been sent to Airtable, congratulations!
A message has been added to the Entries page of Gravity Forms.
Click on “View“ to check your previous submissions.
If something has gone wrong, you will notice it in this message.
