How to setup the Sync Status in Notion WP Sync?

With our plugin, you can easily synchronize post status.

By default, you can choose the value for the post status option to define the statuses of your posts, but in this case the status of posts will be identical for all of them.

If you wish to use a field to determine the status of your posts, simply map it in the field mapping section.

To do this, you need to create or have a ‘select’ property in your Notion database, which contains the different statuses of your posts.

⚠️ The correct terms for the WP post status ‘published’ and ‘scheduled’ to be used in Notion are ‘publish’ and ‘future’ respectively.

If you want to use the ‘future’ (‘scheduled’) status, you need to have a ‘date’ property that matches with the publication date of your posts. Use this property when mapping fields.

Once all of this is done, you can synchronize your connection, your post statuses are now synchronized! The result in WordPress is like this:

💡 You can also use the default ‘status’ property in Notion, but you need to configure it as in the screenshot below, with the appropriate terms for the different statuses.
